The American Thoracic Society has published a new clinical practice guideline to help physicians diagnose primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), a rare, chronic disease that affects breathing beginning very early in life. The guideline appears online and in the June 15 edition of the Society’s American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine

On Thursday, July 19, during PCD week at the ATS, join us for a Twitter chat with one of the authors, Adam Shapiro, MD, where he’ll discuss diagnosing primary ciliary dyskinesia, and take questions. Use the hashtag #ATSchat to join in. PCD week is an ATS PAR initiative, sponsored by the PCD Foundation.

When: Thursday, July 19 at 2pm ET

Where: Twitter, using hashtag #ATSchat
